GoztepeLIST is an amateur and "Goztepe Fan" originated non-governmental organization founded in March, 2000. GoztepeLIST is not a subsidiary or an affiliation of another group, club or entity; however, in order to achieve its objectives GoztepeLIST may, from time to time, cooperate with other persons, organizations and/or entities. Principles that dominate the philosophy of GoztepeLIST can be summarized with the following Turkish proverbs: (i) Knowledge is the most valuable treasury; (ii) Progress can be achieved by sharing of the knowledge; (iii) Cooperation generates the Force. Main purposes of GoztepeLIST are to provide exchange of ideas between and unify the efforts of the Goztepe Fan spread through all over the globe in order to improve the status and successes of Goztepe nationally and internationally; to share our views with the Goztepe directors/managers and sports media. GoztepeLIST struggles to protect rights and interests of Goztepe sport club and sportsmen before any person, organization, board, panel and entity; prevent hooliganism and cuss at the sport courts, halls and stadiums; and to generate power derived from the unity of the Goztepe Fan to be more effective to provide development of sports activities and success in Turkey. GoztepeLIST provides exchange of ideas relating to the good of Goztepe sport club and sportsmen through its moderated web ring. GoztepeLIST is organized in many cities within Turkey and abroad by virtue of its city and university representatives. Such representatives organize and coordinate activities and provide effective support from their cities and universities to further the aforementioned purposes of GoztepeLIST. Currently, GoztepeLIST enjoys the honor of being the most comprehensive website relating to Goztepe Sports Club and being one of the three greatest Fan originated organizations in Turkey. In 2001 GoztepeLIST was elected, consecutively, to be one of the best ten web sites concerning sports in Turkey by Sportfoy. Since its foundation GoztepeLIST contributed enormously in defending interests and rights of Goztepe Sports Club and its sportsmen; and assumed a leading role in our community to create public awareness towards the problems of sports and problems of "Anatolian Sports Clubs" in Turkey.
